Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information DovixSoft receives when you visit this website or contact us, how we use it, and how you can ask us about it.
1. Who we are
This policy applies to the DovixSoft website (dovixsoft.com) and to enquiries made to DovixSoft through the contact options on it. In this policy, "DovixSoft", "we" and "us" mean the business operating under the DovixSoft name.
DovixSoft is operated as a sole proprietorship. You can reach us using the details in section 15. Our Terms & Conditions also apply when you work with us.
2. Information you choose to share
This website does not have a contact form, account area, newsletter sign-up or checkout. We receive personal information only when you choose to contact us. This may include:
- your name and the phone number or email address you contact us from;
- details about your business and your project, such as what you want to build, features you need, your budget range, preferred timeline and links to existing websites or systems (the website invites visitors to include these in an enquiry);
- anything else you decide to include in your messages or attachments.
Please do not send passwords, payment card details or other highly sensitive information in an initial enquiry.
3. WhatsApp and email enquiries
The "Chat on WhatsApp", "Discuss Your Project" and similar buttons open WhatsApp with a short pre-written message for you to review and send. Nothing is sent to us until you choose to send the message yourself. The "Email Us" and email links open your email application with our address filled in.
When you message us, we receive what you send together with the details your messaging or email service provides, such as your phone number or email address. WhatsApp and your email provider process your messages under their own terms and privacy policies. Our business email address is currently a Gmail address, so email to us is handled through Google’s email service.
We may keep notes of your enquiry in ordinary business records, such as a notes app, spreadsheet or project tracker, so that we can follow up and deliver the work.
4. Information processed by our hosting provider
Like most websites, this one is delivered to you by a hosting provider. Hosting providers commonly record technical information when a page is requested, such as IP address, date and time, pages requested, browser and device type, and referring page, for security, reliability and troubleshooting.
Our hosting provider is a third-party web hosting company. Where its servers are located and how long it keeps logs depend on that provider’s own policies. We do not use these logs to identify individual visitors for marketing.
5. Cookies and analytics
At the time this policy was last updated, the pages of this website do not load analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, do not load third-party scripts or fonts, and do not set cookies or store data in your browser themselves. The only scripts on the pages open the mobile menu, prepare the WhatsApp links and show the current year in the footer.
Your hosting provider or any security service in front of the site may process technical data as described in section 4. If we add analytics or advertising tools in future, we will update this policy first.
6. Advertising and Meta Pixel (not active)
The Meta Pixel is not currently installed or active on this website. We may run advertising on Meta platforms in future, and may later add the Meta Pixel or similar measurement tools to understand how visitors from ads use this site. Before any such tool is activated, we intend to update this policy to describe what it collects, why, and how you can control it, and to provide any consent notice or cookie choice that applicable law requires.
If you reach this website from an advertisement, the advertisement and the information Meta uses to show it are governed by Meta’s own policies and settings, not by this policy.
7. How we use information
We use the information you share to:
- reply to your enquiry and discuss your project;
- prepare estimates, proposals and agreements, and deliver services you request;
- communicate with you about a project you have engaged us for;
- keep business records and meet legal, tax or accounting obligations;
- keep the website secure and working.
We handle information on the basis that it is needed to respond to your request, to prepare and carry out an agreement with you, to meet legal obligations, or for our legitimate interest in running and securing the business.
8. Sharing of information
We share information only as needed to run the business and respond to you:
- with service providers we rely on, such as WhatsApp, our email provider and our hosting provider;
- with independent developers or partners we involve in a project you have engaged us for, who are bound to keep your confidential information confidential (see section 8 of our Terms & Conditions);
- with authorities or advisers where the law requires it or to protect legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
9. Retention
We keep enquiry and project information for as long as needed for the purposes in section 7, including any legal, tax or accounting requirements. When a project ends, we will return or delete confidential project materials on request, subject to what the law requires us to keep (see our Terms & Conditions).
Details of enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 12 months and then deleted. For projects, we keep records for as long as the project needs and for as long as tax, accounting or other legal requirements say we must.
10. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the information we receive. No website, messaging service or method of electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your rights and requests
Depending on where you live and the law that applies, you may have rights over your personal information, which can include asking what we hold about you, asking us to correct or delete it, withdrawing consent you have given, and raising a concern or complaint. To make a request, contact us using the details in section 15 and tell us what you would like us to do. We may need to confirm your identity before acting on a request.
We aim to respond to requests within 30 days. The rights available to you depend on the law that applies to you.
12. Third-party websites
This website links to other sites and services, including WhatsApp and Facebook. These are run by third parties, and their own privacy policies apply when you use them.
13. Children
This website is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
14. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy, for example if we add analytics or advertising tools. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
